WELCOME
Welcome to believing in a more perfect world of abilities. Initiatives of both short and lengthy films and documentaries that address social, economic and environmental issues and inspire others.

We develop and implement community and youth projects that contribute to improve socioeconomic status of vulnerable communities in and preventing violent extremism in Malawi.
Our nation is wonderfully diverse. We produce documentary films as an instrument for change, delivering greater knowledge, compassion and awareness.
Watching, Listening and understanding bring us together regardless of our diverse status.

The FOA Film Festival calls for films that showcase the ability of people with a disability. “These short films and documentaries break down the barriers for people with a disability to participate fully in society, mainly through encouraging viewers to shift their perspective,” Says one of 2015 judges, award-winning Director Di Drew. Now we feel proud to be partner of NOVA Employment to coordinating 'Focus on Ability' Short Film Festival for Malawian based filmmakers with the NOVA Employment international judging panel. Hence FOAS started encouraging Malawian filmmakers for 2017 festival.
We champion the use of media, law and enterprise as tools to achieve our vision by showcasing hidden abilities of people with disabilities and other vulnerable communities. By supporting FOAS makes it possible for it to achieve total inclusion and improve living standards of the vulnerable people.
